Rocking Out with Aisha Zuiter - Concert & Clinic

Aisha Zuiter is a classically self-taught musician from Salt Lake City, UT. Shaped by her involvement in the Salt Lake Symphony and local acoustic, folk, and rock groups, she draws on her classical and progressive influences as the cellist for the metal band Rite of Stone.  Inspired by classical masters Bach, Lalo, and Saint Saens, modern acoustic groups Break of Reality, Two Cellos, and The Piano Guys, and metal bands Opeth, Altered Bridge, and Avenged Sevenfold, her latest solo work uses electronic pedals to enhance the acoustic cello, creating live and original looped soundscapes. Her music collaborations include acoustic power band, KARMA (featuring Kate MacLeod, Anke Summerhill, Robert Ainsley, and Matt Seabury), Celtic Jazz band SYNKOFA, world music producer Ravensfell Music Works (studio album Dry Spell), and local funk/rock band Terrestrial Soulz (studio album Crash Landed).
