Tonal Techniques: Unlocking your Viola's Voice
Ryan Teynor is the violist of the Sky Island Quartet, and an active freelancer and music teacher in the Salt Lake area. His performing experience includes chamber music, orchestra, opera, ballet, musicals, and recording for film and television. He also has over 20 years of teaching experience, both in private lessons and classroom settings. He recently joined the Midvale Arts Council board of directors to help promote the arts in Midvale where he currently lives.

Demystifying the Double Bass with Jason Heath
Jason Heath is co-creator of Double Bass HQ, which unites the double bass community by elevating events, fostering discussion, sharing knowledge, and supporting double bass creators.His podcast Contrabass Conversations has published over 900 episodes and has been downloaded more than 3 million times. A highly decorated veteran teacher, Jason is a past faculty member at DePaul University, Trinity International University, and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. His former students hold positions in the Chicago Symphony, Lyric Opera of Chicago, and Philharmonie Sudwestfalen. Jason is a former member of the Board of Directors for the International Society of Bassists. He also previously served as president of the Illinois chapter of the American String Teachers Association and orchestra representative for District VII of the Illinois Music Educators Association. A graduate of Northwestern University, Jason was a member of the Elgin Symphony for 16 seasons and has performed with the San Francisco Symphony, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Grant Park Symphony, and numerous other professional ensembles.

Mariachi Magic with Michele Medina-Feronne
Michele Medina-Ferrone is a violinist from Utah who plays a variety of genres including classical, Latin-pop, traditional world, independent, and mariachi. She performs regularly with Mariachi Fuego de Utah and has been an assistant to Mariachi programs in Salt Lake City. While attending the 2025 Tucson International Mariachi Conference, Michele was hand-picked to perform alongside other selected musicians to open for the Espectacular Concert. She continues to work with musicians of Utah and other states in order to keep the tradition and exploration of Mariachi music alive.

Rocking Out on Cello - Concert and Clinic
Aisha Zuiter is a classically self-taught musician from Salt Lake City, UT. Shaped by her involvement in the Salt Lake Symphony and local acoustic, folk, and rock groups, she draws on her classical and progressive influences as the cellist for the metal band Rite of Stone. Inspired by classical masters Bach, Lalo, and Saint Saens, modern acoustic groups Break of Reality, Two Cellos, and The Piano Guys, and metal bands Opeth, Altered Bridge, and Avenged Sevenfold, her latest solo work uses electronic pedals to enhance the acoustic cello, creating live and original looped soundscapes.
