Band Repair
Please note: Due to an increased volume of repairs from the back-to-school season, we are not accepting band instrument repairs from outside customers at this time. Will will only accept repairs from current or past Summerhays rentals, and instruments previously purchased from Summerhays. All string instrument repairs are welcome. We apologize for any inconvenience.

BRASS REPAIR SERVICES
PLAYING CONDITION
Includes removal and cleaning of all slides and valves. Minimal dent removal. Lubrication and alignment of all valves with cork and felt replacement as needed. Mouthpiece disinfection.
Severely stuck valves and slides can be removed at an additional cost. Soldering of joints can be done at an additional cost as well.
CHEMICAL FLUSH
Includes complete disassembly and chem-dip clean to remove all internal deposits. Removal of all minor stuck slides and caps. Accessible dent removal and burnishing. Lubrication and alignment of all slides and pistons with cork and felt replacement as needed. Minor polishing and buffing. Mouthpiece disinfection. Waterkey cork replacement.
Severely stuck slides can be removed at an additional cost. Soldering of joints can be done at an additional cost as well.
RECONDITION
Includes chemical flush. Removal of all stuck slides and caps. Major dent removal and burnishing. Lubrication and alignment of all slides and pistons. Cork and felts will be replace. Complete polishing and buffing. Up to three solder joints included. Mouthpiece disinfection.
More joints can be soldered at an additional cost.
WOODWIND REPAIR SERVICES
REGULATE & ADJUST
Includes complete mechanical adjustment and timing of key mechanisms including key alignment. Pads will be re-leveled as needed. Key corks/flets will be replaced as needed.
Pads and tenon/neck corks can be replace at an additional cost.
PLAYING CONDITION
Includes complete mechanical adjustment, key oiling, and replacement of up to four pads as needed. complete adjustment and timing of key mechanisms. Key corks/felts will be replaced as needed. Minor accessible dent removal on metal instruments. Wood instruments will be oiled as needed.
COMPLETE REPAD
Includes total disassembly, cleaning and buffing of all non-lacquered keys. Wood instruments will be oiled. All pads, corks, and felts will be replaced, and springs replaced as needed. All tenon or neck corks, including one mouthpiece cork, will be replaced. Minor accessible dent removal on metal instruments. Complete adjustment and timing of key mechanisms, and key alignment. Flute and piccolo head corks will be replaced. Reassembly, oiling of keys and mechanisms.
Joints can be soldered at an additional cost. Additional dent removal can be done at an additional cost as well.
